Sulfonic acid-modified cellulose nanocrystals are needle-shaped nanomaterials obtained by treating natural plant cellulose with sulfuric acid. The surface contains sulfonic acid groups and is well dispersed in water with pH=1~14.The fiber diameter is 5~10nm and the length is 100~500um.Due to the particularity of cellulose and its crystal structure, it is amphiphilic and can exist at the water-oil interface to stabilize emulsions. At the same time, it has strong thixotropy and its thixotropic index is adjustable between 5 and 12. It has little effect on the viscosity of the system after adding it.
Dispersion method:
The powder is pre-dispersed into a high-concentration colloid at high speed, and after mixing with the product, use conventional equipment to stir and disperse.
