Nanochitin product description

(1) Product overview

This product's nanochitin adopts green and environmentally friendly technology and is made of nanoscale chitin, the second largest renewable biopolysaccharide in nature. The particle size is uniform and controllable, retaining its biological activity. It has both natural safety and multifunctionality, and is widely used in many fields.

(2) Core features

Natural, green, safe and non-toxic : The raw materials are derived from natural biomass such as the exoskeletons of shrimps and crabs and other crustaceans, fungal cell walls, etc. It is the only natural polymer material with a positive charge in nature. After strict testing, it is non-allergenic, non-toxic, has excellent biocompatibility, can be naturally degraded, conforms to the concept of circular bio-economy, and has no burden on the human body and the environment.

The advantages of the nanoscale are significant : Compared with ordinary chitin, nanochitin has extremely high specific surface area and surface activity. The surface is rich in active functional groups such as hydroxyl, amino, and acetylamino groups. It is easy to undergo chemical modification and can be efficiently combined with other materials, greatly improving the overall performance of the product. Its unique nanostructure also gives it good water dispersibility, solving the application pain point of ordinary chitin being hydrophobic and insoluble.

(6) Instructions for use

Powdered products: Before use, the corresponding solvent (deionized water is recommended) must be thoroughly stirred and dispersed until a uniform dispersion is formed before subsequent processing. The dispersion concentration can be adjusted according to application requirements (normally recommended is 0.1%-5%).

Dispersion products: can be used directly. If slight stratification occurs, the effect will not be affected after stirring evenly. If dilution is required, it is recommended to gradually dilute with the same type of solvent to avoid changes in particle size caused by violent stirring.

The specific usage ratio and process can be optimized and adjusted according to different application scenarios and actual needs.


Safety tips

1. This product is industrial/food grade raw material and cannot be eaten directly (food grade can be added and used according to relevant standards);

2. Wear gloves and masks during operation to avoid direct contact with eyes. If inadvertent contact occurs, rinse immediately with plenty of water;

3. It is strictly prohibited to mix and store with strong oxidants, strong acids and alkalis to avoid chemical reactions;

4. Use as soon as possible after opening. Store remaining products in a sealed container to prevent moisture absorption and deterioration.
